Capital City Recovery, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization that conducts advocacy and outreach programs on behalf of people in jail, their families and the community from which most come and to which most return.

We operate a food pantry for residents of Hampton, Newport News, and Yorktown.  We have partnered with local business to raise food and funds to keep this much needed ministry alive.

Our mission is to:

• Equip and encourage volunteers, ministries, churches, and other organizations to join in the effort to positively impact America’s prison system.
• Impact and change the lives of inmates by introducing them to the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
• To Provide Food to needy families.  Focusing on but not limited to parents and children left behind from an incarcerated parent or loved on.

What We Do:

• Correspond with people in prison
• Link people in prisons with their families and communities
• Provide people in prison with crucially needed education materials
• Collect gifts at Christmas for the children of people in prison
• Provide food to needy families at NO COST to the families.
